This cheesy tortellini casserole is a kid friendly pasta dinner that is an easy tortellini dish for weeknights - one of my favorites to make on a busy weeknight. The plus is that everything comes together so quickly. And, if you wish it can be easily customized by adding sausage, chicken, ham, spinach ... really anything! And, since it can be made ahead it's a huge win in my book! Try this easy weeknight baked pasta casserole this week!

Ingredients
7ouncepackage uncooked cheese tortellini
12ouncesmarinara sauce
8ouncesAlfredo sauce
1 1/2tablespoondried Italian seasoningdivided
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese
1/4cupParmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook pasta al dente according to directions and drain (cook 2-3 minutes less than the written cooking instructions on the box)
In a medium-size cooking pot, bring half of the spices and sauces (marinara and Alfredo sauce to a simmer for 10 minutes
Stir cooked tortellini into sauce and pour into greased 9" pie dish and then top with cheese
Top with cheeses and remaining spices
Broil under broiler for 5 minutes or less
The baked tortellini casserole is ready to serve when the cheese begins to melt or turns golden brown
Notes
Use any kind of cooked meat as an addition to make this meal even heartier.Use any kind of tortellini, just follow cooking directions on the package, and always cook al dente, the ravioli will finish cooking in the oven.
