These cheesy potatoes are our absolute favorite! Why? Because cheesy potatoes go with EVERYTHING! From the perfect Thanksgiving side dish for turkey to ham, to burgers on the grill. Your guests and family will love this cheesy potato recipe!

  • 30 oz. bag frozen hashbrowns thawed atleast two hours in refrigerator
  • 2 cans cream of chicken condensed soup THIS is your secret weapon - TWO cans. Don't skimp, folks. It's worth it, I promise!
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 6 T butter melted
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • *optional 1/4-1/2 cup diced onions
  • * optional 3 cups cornflakes


  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl including optional onions, minus the butter and cornflakes
  • Top with melted butter (and optional cornflakes)
  • Bake at 350 degrees uncovered one hour
  • Enjoy!
