Crockpot Cheesy Potatoes
These crockpot Cheesy Potatoes are a great side dish for ham, a perfect side dish for steaks and a great hot side dish for grilled meat as well!
Prep Time 15 minutes minutes Total Time 4 hours hours 15 minutes minutes
- 30 oz. bag of frozen shredded hashbrowns thawed
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 4 T butter melted
- 1½ cups cheese - shredded cheddar divided I prefer sharp cheddar, any will do
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup diced yellow onion
Combine all ingredients in the crock pot, or in a large bowl
Transfer to 6-Qt crock pot if not already
Put lid on the crock pot
Cook on high for 2 hours, or low for 4-6 hours
Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup of cheese until melted
