Cheese and Broccoli Casserole with Rice

One of the most popular Thanksgiving dinner side dishes comes back on the scene and is more popular than ever. This creamy side dish will not disappoint!
Servings 8 cups

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. frozen broccoli cuts
  • 1/2 cup diced frozen onions
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 cups cooked Minute Rice
  • 1 16 oz. jar Cheez Whiz
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook broccoli and frozen onions in the microwave until thawed, stirring in two-minute intervals.
  • Once soft, use kitchen scissors to cut broccoli cuts into smaller pieces.
  • Stir together the cooked rice, Cheez Whiz, soups and milk. Add salt and pepper now, or once cooked.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until bubbly.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

I really like the pieces of broccoli to be about the size of a dime, otherwise they're too big and awkward to eat in one bite.
