Oreo Cookie Dough Pie
My husband’s birthday was on the horizon and I knew that in order to make his birthday dinner the best that it could be I’d need to have a dessert that was cold, had cookie dough, and cookies and cream concoction.
This no bake chocolate chip cookie pie with cookie dough pieces was exactly what the special day called for and I nailed it – He loved it.
In fact, we all did and now, I can’t wait for the next opportunity to make this cookie dough pie recipe!
Here’s my warning: At first peek, this recipe looks really daunting! Do not let this cookie dough pie recipe scare you! It’s not too bad to make and because it’s in three steps that have to freeze for 15-20 minutes in between, there’s time to gather and put away your ingredients as well.
Also, another thing that might throw you off is the toasted flour. As with raw eggs, it has been determined that eating raw flour isn’t best practice.
Would you rather have an easier dessert with less steps? This apple dump cake crockpot recipe is one of our favorites, too and it’s dump and go!
This is why It’s a good idea to cook flour before using it in a no-bake recipe.
How to Bake Flour:
Spread flour out on a baking sheet. I always use Parchment Paper for easier cleanup.
Bake 5 minutes at 350 degrees and let the flour cool.
