In fact, we all did and now, I can’t wait for the next opportunity to make this cookie dough pie recipe!

Here’s my warning: At first peek, this recipe looks really daunting! Do not let this cookie dough pie recipe scare you! It’s not too bad to make and because it’s in three steps that have to freeze for 15-20 minutes in between, there’s time to gather and put away your ingredients as well.

Also, another thing that might throw you off is the toasted flour. As with raw eggs, it has been determined that eating raw flour isn’t best practice.

Would you rather have an easier dessert with less steps? This apple dump cake crockpot recipe is one of our favorites, too and it’s dump and go!

This is why It’s a good idea to cook flour before using it in a no-bake recipe.

How to Bake Flour:

Spread flour out on a baking sheet. I always use Parchment Paper for easier cleanup.

Bake 5 minutes at 350 degrees and let the flour cool.

Here we go:

Cookie Dough Bites:

6 tbsp butter, room temperature
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/8 cup sugar
1 vanilla extract
1 cup flour, cooked
1 tsp milk
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Cookie Dough Pie Crust:

20 crushed Oreos
1/4 cup butter, melted

Cookie Dough Pie Filling:

4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
8 oz cool whip, thawed
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips, divided

Cookie Dough Cake Directions (three steps):

Cookie Dough Balls:

1. Cream the butter, sugar and dark brown sugar together
2. Mix in the vanilla extract
3. Add the flour and milk and mix thoroughly
4. Mix in the chocolate chips
5. Roll the dough into little balls that are between 1/2 and 3/4 inch in diameter.
* If the cookie dough balls are too big, you can always cut them down or in half later
6. Freeze the balls of dough until ready to use in pie filling

Oreo Pie Crust:

1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs. I like to use my food processor pampered chef chopper
2. Mix the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter
3. Press into the bottom of a greased 9 or 10-inch pie pan
4. Set in the freezer for a minimum of 20 minutes while you make the filling

Pie Filling:

1. Mix the cream cheese, sugar and brown sugar together with a mixer. Mix until smooth
2. Add the Cool Whip and mix thoroughly
3. Stir in 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and about 3/4 of the frozen cookie dough balls
4. Scrape the filling into the pie crust smoothing down the top as you go
5. Top with remaining cookie dough balls and 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips
6. Allow the cookie dough pie to freeze completely for 60+ minutes before serving

Cut into pieces and enjoy!
