I had never considered making a chicken alfredo lasagna with a jarred lasagna alfredo sauce – that is until RAGÚ reached out and asked me to test out their new Simply Creamy Alfredo Sauces – oh my word – MINDBLOWN. This is my own recipe but RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce was provided so I could try it out (Heck yes!)

This delicious easy chicken casserole dinner is going to be a regular on our families plates and I am predicting that it will be for yours once you try it, too.

If you are looking for a slamdunk chicken lasagna with alfredo sauce, look no further, this is your best bet!

Creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

If you’ve hung around here for any length of time you know that I am a huge fan of making my own sauces – but you also know that I am efficient (the nice way of saying too busy, or lazy if you wish, I suppose).

While I love to make my own homemade alfredo sauce to go over pasta – I think that I’ve met my homemade recipe’s match in the ‘efficient’ version ..

Enter in RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce.

RAGÚ Simply Creamy Sauce #spon

The RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce made it a breeze to make this recipe for alfredo lasagna and everyone at the table raved about it (including a friend of my 11 year old son’s and boys don’t usually rave about how good a dinner is if you know what I mean). And, right now there’s a 75¢ coupon inside Valpak envelopes making this sauce less than $2 at Walmart stores – and it’s awesome! Next I’m trying the Garlic Parmesan flavor – YUM!

The RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauces are perfect because they are made with milk and cauliflower, which replaces heavy cream and RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce contains half the fat of RAGÚ Classic Alfredo Sauce, with the same delicious taste and texture.

This was a HUGE hit.  pin this recipe to pinterest with this button

And, did I mention how easy it was too? In fact, a neighbor recently had a baby (her third) and I’m thinking that this chicken alfredo sauce lasagna is going to end up on her front doorstep soon as well, because it’s seriously so easy!

Serving it alongside a lettuce salad and a nice loaf of French Bread – I’m going to look like the neighborhood hero, am I right?? And, what I also love is that I can completely prepare this dinner without baking it, bring it to her house ready to bake and she can pop it in the oven to bake. Her house will smell delicious, and she’ll likely have leftovers – winningx2 I’d say.

If you’re on the hunt for a seriously amazing chicken casserole, this is the way to go!

A couple things to note: In my lasagnas I use cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese. Funny story – I used to use ricotta cheese … until I started cooking for my husband. His mom used cottage cheese in her lasagna and my husband said he preferred it that way, so now I assemble all of my lasagnas like that, too!

You can totally swap out ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese in this recipe – I find that they’re equal and interchangeable.

How to Make Chicken Alfredo Lasagna:

For starters I do use my Instant Pot in this recipe – you certainly don’t have to use an Instant Pot, but I love the shortcut of using my Instant Pot to make shredded chicken. Before I had an Instant Pot I would often use my Crock Pot to make shredded chicken, and lastly, you could use your oven, heck you could even use a regular pan to bake your chicken and shred it from there.

Can You Make Ahead Chicken Alfredo Lasagna?

Yes! This chicken lasagna alfredo is a great make ahead dinner idea as the noodles will get less firm as they sit in the juices from the sauce and chicken. Leave it in the fridge for 24 hours before preheating the oven and baking this easy chicken alfredo lasagna recipe.

Can You Freeze Chicken Alfredo Lasagna?

Absolutely! If you decide to freeze this before eating, thaw the casserole for 24-48 hours in fridge before baking. You’ll lay foil down before assembling the lasagna and wrap the casserole well with foil. Wrap it in a freezer Ziploc baggie.
